Ugu leaves, also known as Fluted Pumpkin, is s tropical vine grown in West Africa. The botanical name is Telfairia Occidentalis. It has a lot of health benefits. It contains Calcium, Iron, Potassium, as well as Manganese. Again, Ugu/ Fluted pumpkin leaf is locally referred to as Ugu leaves and are used for cooking stews, soups, yam, beans, sauces and even for medicinal purposes. Wash 3 to 4 times before use.
