Recipe: Ofada Rice Water Salt Vegetable oil Locust beans Seasoning cube Onions Green tomatoes Green bell pepper Green habanero pepper Assorted meat or chicken Method of cooking: 1. heat up water in the pot until it boils 2. Rinse rice thoroughly with cold water and add to pot of boiling water, add salt and oil. Cook until it’s ready. OFADA RICE SAUCE 2. Blend green tomatoes, pepper and onions. Pour in a pot and boil till the water dries. 2. Heat up frying pan and add oil, allow to bleach and allow it to cool a little . 3. Add chopped onions, salt and the boiled tomatoes/pepper mixture. Add iru (locust beans) , assorted meat or chicken and crayfish. Cover and allow to cook till oil floats to the top. Add the meat or chicken stock , taste and add seasoning cube if necessary. 6 allow the ingredients to cook for about 5minutes and your sauce is ready for consumption together with the ofada.
