The majority of Caribbean calcite is mined by a few families in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, which borders Afghanistan. It is a more recently discovered crystal made up of a combination of blue calcite, white Aragonite, and light brown Aragonite. It only comes from Pakistan and was first discovered in 2019. All of our crystals are cleansed by the light and energy of the full moon. To Cleanse – Crystals can absorb negative energies, so it’s important to cleanse them. Here are some methods I use for cleansing crystals: Sunlight – Crystals enjoy sun baths. Sunlight will purify negative energy and restore the male-female balance to your crystal. As this crystal doesn’t like extreme heat, I do this in the early morning, when the light is less intense. Water – Crystals resonate with Earth and grounding, so cleansing it in a spring or stream can be a wonderful experience. You can also use soapy water and a soft cloth. Rinse it with fresh water afterwards to prevent any build-up of soapy residue. Moonlight – Moonlight is a lovely way to cleanse and energize crystals. If I’m cleansing it outside, I usually place it directly on the ground so it can benefit from an earthy connection at the same time.
