If using a fragrance oil, use 2 to 3 drops of oil diluted with water. • Place one unscented tealight candle at the bottom of the burner and ensure the wick is standing. • Light the candle with a long handled lighter. • Check your burner periodically. Maintain an appropriate level of oil or wax in the dish and watch the burner for smoke. If your burner begins to smoke, extinguish the candle, clean your burner and start over with a new tealight. • Extinguish the candle if you are going to be out of the room.
