Mishra’s NIRAYANA TABLES OF ASCENDANTS A long – felt requirement of exhaustive tables of Nirayana lagnas based on 24thayanamsha is now fulfilled. Tables are based on Indian Sidereal Time and calculated for entire 21” century. To facilitate astrologers as well as students of astrology, tables are given almost for all North latitudes (geographical) at short interval. These tables can easily be used for southern latitudes also. A simplest method for the same has been given here with example. The basic sidereal time is given for 00:00 hrs. Which makes the calculation much easier rather than calculating the same on the basis of S.T. noon. Students are not supposed to go back for incorporating the time interval, if birth time falls before noon. For students of highly critical nature, a detailed article on the extent of Lagan and also on the Bhava Chalit is included. Many other essential points, e.g. sidereal day, solar day, Chitrapaksh ayanamsha are explained. Formula for calculation of Ayanamsha, Nutation correction has been enunciated with example. A simple single page table, giving lagna time in IST, for all lagnas is included which can be used as a ready reckoner for many future decades. The work is useful for entire Indian region as well as for all neighboring countries without any correction or modification.
