La presencia de este famoso héroe es muy abundante en las páginas literarias, desde entonces hasta nuestros días. Además de los textos cidianos editados en el presente volumen existieron muchos otros, incluso todo un ciclo épico sobre el personaje, que fue cristalizando en sucesivos cantares juglarescos, como el refundido de las Mocedades de Rodrigo, que aquí se edita y que se ha considerado un testimonio de cómo evolucionó la épica juglaresca hacia la poética del romancero. Junto a ella, el Cantar de mio Cid es la joya mejor conservada del arte juglaresco castellano, guardada hoy en un único códice de la Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid, y uno de los grandes poemas épicos de la Europa medieval. Narra las gestas heroicas de un Rodrigo Díaz, ya maduro, que debe abandonar su aldea para sobrevivir en tierras extrañas. La voz del juglar nos acerca a la faceta más humana del héroe, quien lucha por recuperar su fortuna y su honor contra una serie de circunstancias negativas, que ponen a prueba sus grandes virtudes morales y religiosas. El tercer texto cidiano es la Crónica del famoso cavallero Cid Ruy Díez Campeador, que en el siglo XVI permitió la difusión de la Crónica de Castilla, donde se narra la creación de dicho reino. If you wish to cancel your order then no questions asked, you should call or email us as soon as possible after ordering. However, if your order has already been printed or collected by the courier for dispatch or sent by post, unfortunately we CANNOT provide a refund for your order. If your order is still processing, we will send you a refund for the amount you paid, less a £2.50 administration fee. We do not provide refunds for sashes that have been received unless there is a fault or an error has been made by Party Sashes.com. In this instance, we will happily re-print your sash/sashes or provide a refund for the faulty ones. Any discrepancies must be reported with and dealt with within 48hrs of receiving your sashes. Unfortunately we cannot rectify any reported errors after this time.
If you are unhappy with the products you have received, please contact us immediately upon receipt. Delivery charges are not included in any refund unless otherwise agreed with Party Sashes. Unfortunately requests for refunds/returns after 7 days after delivery or for used products will not be considered.

On rare occassions where the 24-48 hour weekday dispatch timescale is not possibe we will always try to contact you using your email supplied or telephone number supplied.
Standard UK delivery is via Royal Mail first class service. Although their aim is next day delivery it is not guaranteed. Royal Mail state delivery may take up to 5 working days. This is a signed for service, so please enter a delivery address where the goods can be signed as delivered.
If you require a guaranteed delivery date we advise using our premium next day or Saturday Special service.
