Russian President Talks Phone with Kazakh President

On April 2, local time, the Russian Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Kazakh President Tokayev. The two sides discussed the main topics of bilateral relations, focusing on the development of mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation and the prospect of deepening cooperation under the framework of Eurasian space integration. The leaders of the two countries confirmed their commitment to comprehensively strengthen the Russia-Kazakhstan alliance and strategic partnership. In addition, Putin briefed Tokayev on the progress of the special military operation and the talks between Russia and Ukraine. The two sides also agreed to continue engagement at all levels in both countries.
