Keep the cigars in their original box inside the humidor where possible to help maintain even humidity and to protect the wrapper. Use a reliable hygrometer and check it regularly to avoid wide swings in humidity. Refill your humidor’s humidification system with distilled water or a recommended humidification solution rather than tap water.
